Automotive Cyber Security Specialist (m/f/d)

WHAT TO EXPECT

• In this role, you can expect to work closely with Tier-1 suppliers, consulting and auditing them on the implementation of cybersecurity requirements for automotive components and functions.
• You'll collaborate with a dynamic team, acting as the communication interface between the central cybersecurity department, the E/E department, and key suppliers to ensure secure vehicle systems and compliance with industry standards.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable degree program
• Experience in development of automotive control units Ideally experience in the established automotive bus- and diagnosis-systems
• Fluent knowledge of English is necessary
• Knowledge in German is helpful

YOUR TASKS

• Organizational Tasks:

  Regular coordination of project results with the customer, as well as developing improvement suggestions to achieve targets.

• Technical Tasks:

  Consulting and auditing Tier-1 suppliers on the implementation of cybersecurity requirements for automotive components and functions.

  Acting as a communication interface between the central cybersecurity department, the E/E (electrics/electronics) department, and Tier-1 suppliers.

  Conducting and analyzing cybersecurity threat and risk assessments of automotive components and functions, as well as developing optimization suggestions.

  Reviewing and designing the architecture of vehicle functions and components from a security perspective.

  Defining the requirement-based testing methods and test design techniques to be used for components and functions.
