As Lead

Platform Engineer in the Decentral SCM & CI team, you will lead the

development and maintenance of critical platforms supporting our developers,

including source code management, CI/CD tools, AI assistants, AI agents, and

more. You will be part of a close-knit, highly motivated team of five (one

product owner and four developers) based in Aarhus, with most team members

working remotely several days a week.





The team is known for its high degree of cooperation, flexibility, and trust,

and you’ll play a key role in maintaining this culture of openness and

collaboration. Your technical leadership will focus on creating innovative,

cloud-native platforms that simplify complex development tasks, enabling our

developers to be more productive and efficient. You will drive the

consolidation of future technologies, delivering cutting-edge solutions to

enhance developer productivity. This includes commoditizing platform

capabilities and packaging them in ways that make them accessible and easy to

use for our development teams.

What we’re looking for:

A platform

engineer with a talent for simplifying complexity and a track record of

innovation. You bring deep experience with DevOps tools like Git-based

solutions, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code, along with strong coding skills. AI/ML

experience is a bonus.

Experience

• Solid IT background with
  
  software development expertise, preferably M.Sc./PhD in Computer Science
  
  or similar.
  
  
• Several years working with
  
  developer tooling or DevOps in large enterprises or high-impact startups.
  
  
• Familiarity with highly
  
  regulated environments (e.g., financial IT) is an advantage.
