This is an exciting opportunity to join the business and work with high profile clients in the architectural and design sectorsThis role requires an experienced Business Development professional with a wealth of experience in selling finishing products into high profile clients and who is well versed in providing a very consultative, technical sales approach whilst also working closely with key stakeholders on long term project deliverables.As a Business Development Manager you will have an impact by:Detailed understanding Architectural Finishes key market segments and route to marketRe-shaping our channel structure by specifying and selling our solutions to buildings faster.Identifying untapped sales opportunities generated from new market trends and potential customersDefining an end-to-end business strategy from idea creation to plan definition to sales execution.Building long-lasting relationships with the main market playersBuilding sales and marketing tools to facilitate our value proposition deliveryIncreasing the level of market awareness about our solutions via specialized magazines, collaboration with KOLs, industry events, trade association collaborations, etcIdentifying the main tradeshows and industry events to generate awarenessOrganising customer events to build stronger relationshipsSkills & ExpertiseProven track record of business management including sales leadership within the finishing and architectural sectorsProject management skills and experienceAbility to lead through influence and to focus on relationship buildingExperience in interpreting market research or market insightsIn-country sales or marketing experienceDemonstrable ability to consistently deliver sales targetsOut-of-the box thinking/Outside-in approachEnglish language skills both verbal and written (Fluent German and English if based in Germany)Job LocationCandidate location - Can be located in either Germany or the UKRole location - Remote based, flexible within the countryTravel: May include up to 25% of travelling both domestic and internationalECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
