What you’ll have to do:

• Category Strategy Development: Cross-functional Collaboration - work closely with other departments, such as marketing, buying, operations, and finance, to align category initiatives with overall business goals.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze category performance metrics, including sales, margin, and inventory levels, to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assortment Planning: Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to determine the optimal product assortment for the category.
• Market Research: Conduct regular market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors.
• Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and insights to improve the shopping experience.
• Promotional Planning: Coordinate with marketing and buying teams to plan and execute promotional activities that drive category growth.
• Merchandising: Develop and execute online merchandising strategies to enhance the visibility and appeal of products on the e-commerce platform and in the app.
• Know how to interpret the datas (analyze sales reports, orders, clients’ demands and acts accordingly to meet and exceed sales targets).
• Pricing Strategy: Contribution in developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with company objectives and market conditions.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of products within the category, from introduction to discontinuation, ensuring optimal product performance and profitability.
