Responsibilities:
- Participate in the achievement of the annual sales plan for designated product categories, according to the job objectives (volume, revenue, product mix, gross margin);
- Establish and develop the product range;
- Analyze the product range against competitors and the market, correlating internal reports with market studies provided by partner agencies;
- Prepare comparative reports (benchmarking) of own products versus competitor products, based on information available on manufacturers’ websites, partner websites, retailer websites, and market visits;
- Analyze the market and competition in terms of pricing policies;
- Explore the local market and identify opportunities for improving the product range;
- Apply pricing/discount policies and prepare the price list in accordance with the company's strategy, sales objectives, and profitability references (gross margin);
- Define new products within the range and analyze the pricing positioning for new products (request purchase price - TP, propose list price);
- Accurately prepare and submit periodic reports requested by the direct superior (prices, competitors, promotions) on time;
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager on: promotional activities for the brand/product category, proposals for market studies related to the brand, tactical marketing actions aimed at stimulating product sales;
- Ensure continuous and active communication with the company’s internal clients;
- Collaborate with KAM (Key Account Manager) to achieve turnover, establish prices, discounts, and decisions regarding promotions and dedicated actions at the client’s point of sale;
- Manage relationships with factories/Supply Chain/PM/HQ to ensure the operationalization of processes;
- Approve documents related to the categories they manage;
- Conduct store visits to assess needs and propose development measures for brand products;
- Coordinate PM support to produce the necessary documentation for brand products;
- Get involved in R&D actions and the design of brand/category products, from the perspective of the benefits provided to consumers;
- Continuously analyze opportunities for improvement in their area of activity, considering the efficiency of allocated resources (processes, costs, time);
- Collaborate with the team and propose action plans whenever identifying such an opportunity;
- Develop improvement and efficiency projects, in line with applicable methodology and technological tools, or other specific resources for the function.
