Mission

Leads the department, sets the standards for the chapter area and takes responsibility for developing, innovating and safeguarding knowledge in the field of expertise. Leads a team in the collection, analysis and reporting on data and the generation of insights to provide business with robust evidence to support decision making.

Your day-to-day

• Plan business and technical aspects of data and analytics systems and platforms. Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates.
• Lead execution of complex reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations for sales performance monitoring.
• Contribute to strategic transformation programs in Retail Sales and ING Retail Network areas, co-owner of Retail Network business model and responsible for its sustainable development.
• Responsible for translating the commercial strategy into the target setting across Sales channels and remuneration framework for ING partners. Ownership of the end- to- end commissioning process for Retail Network and compliance with SOX control framework.
• Implementation of motivational programs and incentives for Retail Network and other ING partners while safeguarding provisions of EBA remuneration framework.
• Responsible for cost budgeting and monitoring in Retail Sales and ING Retail Network area, active management of expenses and cost containment initiatives.
• Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships, and providing professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
• Motivate and support the growth of all members of the team, provide training or coaching in own area of expertise.
• Develop and propose own performance objectives. Take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, manage and report on team performance.

What you bring to the team

• University Degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial institution, good understanding of general banking environment and ING Banking products, services, and operational flows.
• Relevant management experience, builds effective teams, collaborates, communicates effectively, innovates, develops talent, drives engagement, manages complexity, optimizes work processes.
• Expertise in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of EBA remuneration guidelines and SOX control framework
• Good command of English language
