Main responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting;
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation, reconciliation, and analysis;
• Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards;
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning;
• Prepare and submit all statements and declarations, required by law within the provisioned deadlines;
• Responsible for all payroll activities;
• Responsible for tax compliance;
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements;
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
• Prepares all monthly management reporting within the agreed deadlines;
• Maintain and monitor the application of internal controls processes and procedures;
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and initiatives;
• Mentor, coach, and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities;
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in financial management processes;
• Work with accounting program (Expert accounts), MS Office, ERP and other software;
• Performs other tasks, assigned by the management team;
