What we’re looking for

We are looking for a colleague to coordinate Civil Works activities both for mobile and fixed network: new sites, site modifications, consolidations, technical rooms, Data Centers, Health and Safety, technical specifications and procedures, RFQs, etc.

Also, to coordinate and evaluate Orange subcontractors.
What you’ll be doing



Coordinate site engineering activities and verify technical solutions in terms of civil works, Health & Safety, waste management, legal obligations in construction domain;
Coordinate and control subcontractors;
Actively participate in negotiations with various telecom service providers and operators;
Validate and negotiate quotations and BOQ for civil works;
Validate/approve Technical Design Projects according Romanian legislation and Orange technical requests.
Contribute to the preparation, verification, management, and reporting of budgets for various projects;
Project management – creating technical SoW for different projects, analysis, follow-up, planning and implementation;
Supervise the implementation of ongoing projects, monitoring and setting deadlines;
Implement, monitor, and report on various initiatives and programs to reduce costs for civil works;
Verification of technical solutions from the perspective of civil works;
Financial analysis, including provisions, CAPEX budgets, Business Cases, etc;
Preparation of technical specifications, procedures, and work instructions;
Reporting to various internal departments, to the Orange Group, and to various external entities in accordance with legal obligations;


What you need to know/have

Professional Skills:



Minimum 3 years previous experience in the civil works field, with a solid understanding of processes and relevant legislation in construction, buildings authorization, wind effect on structures legislation, waste management, Health and safety for constructions;
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Technical University studies (University of Civil Engineering is a plus);
Advanced MS Excel skills and MS Office;
Health and Safety knowledge for telecom sites
Excellent communication skills
Excellent negotiation skills
English – advanced
Experience in verifying calculations for the resistance and stability of metal structures and foundations is a plus;
Project Management Certification is a plus;
Driving license B categoryWill be considered a plus:
Experience in construction, expansion, and consolidation projects for telecom sites and Data Centers;
Ability to compute structural calculation for metallic structures and concrete foundations;
Master studies at Technical University of Civil Engineering
