Roles and Responsibilities of a Data Analyst
1.Data Quality and Integrity
Ensure that data remains accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle, which is critical for making valid and trustworthy decisions.
Clean data and review computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and correct coding errors.
2.Data Collection from Various Sources
Collect data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party sources, and ensure the maintenance of databases and data systems.
3.Development and Support of Reporting Processes
Create and maintain processes for generating accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand key data insights and act accordingly.
Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with managers from various departments to define data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their individual business processes.
4.Development of Automated Data Scraping Processes
Design scripts and tools to automatically extract large volumes of data from websites or other digital sources, improving efficiency and availability.
5.Data Interpretation
Identify, investigate, and decipher trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Use statistical techniques to examine data and generate actionable business insights.
Your analyses will help derive meaningful insights and trends, which can serve as the foundation for business decisions and strategies.
