Job Summary:
We are looking for a Deputy Sales Director to lead the education, training, and development of our sales agents. This role is responsible for designing and implementing training programs, coaching sales teams, and ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales leadership to align training initiatives with business goals and improve overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Training & Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales training programs for new and existing sales agents.
Design educational materials, including training manuals, e-learning modules, and workshops.
Conduct regular coaching sessions to enhance selling techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement skills.
Establish a certification program to track and validate the skills of sales agents.
Sales Performance & Skill Enhancement:
Identify skill gaps and provide targeted training to improve negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques.
Organize role-playing exercises, case studies, and real-world sales simulations.
Implement mentorship programs pairing experienced sales professionals with new hires.
Process Optimization & Sales Strategy Support:
Ensure all sales agents follow best practices and company sales methodologies.
Work closely with the CRM (e.g., Salesforce) team to integrate sales training with digital tools and reporting systems.
Develop onboarding programs to accelerate the learning curve for new hires.
Sales Enablement & Resources:
Provide sales teams with updated pitch materials, scripts, product knowledge documents, and competitive insights.
Work with marketing to develop educational content that supports sales efforts.
Establish a learning management system (LMS) to track training participation and progress.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
Assess training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback surveys, and sales performance analysis.
Stay updated on the latest sales techniques, industry trends, and educational technologies.
Organize quarterly refresher courses to ensure continuous skill improvement.
