Who We Are

The project involves 2nd level technical support and development activities for extremely complex systems implemented in the plants a Bavarian automotive producer. The purpose of the systems is to control the customer’s assembly lines.

What You'll Be Doing

• Technical support and maintenance activities for the applications that we are responsible for
• Work with the PIC Processes of the customer (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
• Communicate and cooperate with the users and the customer
• Active participation in Scrum meetings
• Refinement and implementation of the user stories with the on-site and near-shore DevOps team
• Requirements' estimation with the development team
• Solve the issues and tickets that arise in daily business
• Perform problem analysis and documentation, root cause analysis, logs analysis
• Find performance issues in time and solving the problems proactively
• Installation of regular patches for the applications
• Database activities in Oracle: checking the DB Jobs, DB Tunning, Tablespace management, managing the DB Links, DB Indexes etc.
• Create and continuously maintain the documentation
  
  
  

What You'll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in technical/non-technical field
• Minumum 3-5 years of experience within application management and technical support field
• Experience with Oracle SQL, Linux or Azure would be nice to have
• ITIL certification would represent a plus
• Experience in the automotive industry is nice to have
• On-call duty is required in this project
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German
