Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a people management role;

Good relationship building and leadership skills;

Knowledge of process and project management practices;

Strong experience with Kubernetes;

Knowledge of revision control systems (GIT) and repository managers (Artifactory, Nexus, Harbor);

Strong experience in developing automation and IaC (Gitlab, Jenkins, Argo, Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack);

Linux systems administration, configuration, troubleshooting and automation;

Functioning knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems (Redis, Mongo);

Functioning knowledge of API and microservices development;

Functioning knowledge of identity management, authentication and authorization;

Solid knowledge of virtualization concepts.

Responsibilities

For our business partner, one of the major and fastest growing Romanian companies specialized in integrating complex IT&C infrastructure and security solutions, we are hiring a DevOps Team Leader in Bucharest.



What will you be doing:



Provide leadership to a group of DevOps engineers;

Perform HR functions for staff as reviews, one on one sessions, assessments;

Responsible with determining the skills needed and providing access to trainings;

Lead agile team meetings and monitor activities to provide status updates as required;

Manage team tasks;

Responsible with evolving and applying DevOps methodologies;

Participate in technical discussion of new solutions and advise on architectural decisions through a deep understanding of the stack;

Identify, communicate and mitigate risks and issues;

Act as a technical escalation point for the team;

Assure the infrastructure’s security;

Actively participate in defining and maintaining the DevOps stack;

Improve CI/CD processes in projects deployed for our customers;

Work to automate and improve development and release processes;

Work with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes.
