A Snapshot of Your Day

You are responsible for developing and maintaining the digitalization structure for the procurement organization that will ensure the optimization of internal processes and work together with the interface partners to align a common base for digitalization in procurement.
You will be a member of the Procurement organization that is responsible for developing procurement strategies for direct materials that will ensure the optimization of Siemens Energy's competitive position.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop, support and coordinate GenAI Use Cases with SE Experts or external
• Develop, support Digitalization Roadmap, considering S4E Environment
• Analyze existing procurement processes for digitalization potentials
• Connect tools to exchange data
• Initiate and execute new digitalization projects
• Enhance existing digitalization applications

What You Bring

• University degree in an IT related field or relevant experience
• Good knowledge about different tools such as Snowflake, SAP, Ariba, Snaplogic
• Ability to understand procurement business requirements
• Capability to cooperate with different cultures in a global business
• Knowledge of digitalization topics and trends in industry
• Ability to work with Microsoft office 365
• Ability to visualize complex processes
• Strong communication skills in managing exchange of information or complaints with colleagues
• Advanced English language skills mandatory, German language skills preferred

Our purchasing team operates from different office sites in Germany and purchase for global power plant projects.
