Duties/Responsibilities

Design and validation of electrical diagrams from information to components and / or electronic systems, taking into account the criteria of diversity;
Collaborate with suppliers in order to define the technical solutions;
Providing support to the suppliers (End User Clients) for the execution of a preliminary series of validations in order to identify and correct possible issues on the implementation of the electrical diagrams;
Defining the paths and wiring elements, in collaboration with architecture team;
Calculation of the electrical characteristics of the wiring harness: electrical line resistance, voltage drop;
Providing technical knowledge and guidance to associate design engineers
Providing resources, developing and deploying processes and methods as well as dedicating tooling to the design team
Managing offshore engineering activities
Assisting the Head of D&D in planning the strategy, capacity, training, cost and budget
Directing the design of wiring systems / components for one or more projects
Ensuring regular communication with customer engineers.
