Job description: • Definition, development and updating of Group data model consisting of group accounting manual and related guidelines, chart of accounting, reporting hierarchies, and data validations; • Manage and monitor the running operations, closing and reporting processes on a quarterly basis, collaborating with crossfunctional team; • Supervise the accurate and timely reporting of financial data in compliance with IFRS, and other relevant regulations • Review and analyze financial reports for senior management and stakeholders to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness, implementing internal controls; • Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance on the adoption of new accounting principles and changes to reporting standards; • Collaborate with external auditors, preparing audit documentation and addressing inquiries; • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff; • Supervise special projects, including system implementations and process improvements, with a focus on efficiency and automation, supporting in the implementation of the CFO processes of the future next years; • Supervise activities related to controls framework and Data quality. The ideal candidate must have: • Brilliant academic background and master degree in accounting, finance, economics (or equivalent); • Deep knowledge of insurance accounting process, general ledger functions and financial statements; • Thorough knowledge of international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS); • Skills related to accounting data model, SAP GL/Tagetik Requirement and master data management process; • In depth understanding of insurance regulations. Knowledge of Solvency II prudential requirements (e.g. MVBS, QRTs’,…) is beneficial; • Must have at least 6/7 years’ experience in accounting or finance; • Fluent English, international minded.
