Responsible for local governance of all financial processes, including accounting, closing, reporting, planning, forecasting, risk management, finance related internal controls and investment management, which entails monitoring of compliance of these processes with Group and, where necessary additional local guidelines;
- Ensure local compliance by understanding and observing the local regulative and risk environment in order to be able to develop and maintain specific local guidelines;
- Coordination of the local financial audits (internal and external) of the operation in close alignment with Group Finance Excellence; coordination of tax audits together with Group Tax department;
- Coordinate the local tasks in planning and forecasting as well as finance change projects in compliance with the Group process guidance, by taking an active moderating, problem- solving role;
- Foster Collaboration with FIBS. Create and share best practices (processes, tools, etc.) within the One Finance community
- Recruit new team members as necessary in collaboration with local people function and in alignment with the local FD and functional leads and ensure there continuous development (develop training plans, organize offers together with functional lead and local HR department)
- Ensuring that the preparation of local financial statements and the execution of local accounting tasks are in compliance with local and group guideline
- Act as an active member of the service community and local contact person for FIBS e2e service process owners in order to define and develop the activity split between local finance and FIBS
- Foster Business Service Excellence bei continuously optimize local processes as well as optimization of activity split with FIBS.
- Implement internal controls in alignment with Finance Excellence and oversee their effective execution.
