Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the effectiveness of the forecasting and demand planning process for Spare Parts in all locations around the globe & the Central Warehouse, to secure availability & proper stock levels.
Responsible for the development and rollout of the ERP and spare parts management systems, policies, and tools that will support the business in planning, coordinating, and controlling spare parts stocks.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Oversee the inventory of spare parts, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained to meet service demand.
Evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of parts. Maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable procurement.
Optimize the lead time and inventory levels and ensure the achievement of the related sales targets objectives, while contributing to increasing customer satisfaction.
Coordinate and ensure efficiency in processing parts’ orders, on time delivery and accuracy.
Analyze parts usage data and inventory levels to forecast demand and adjust inventory practices accordingly.
Utilize inventory management software to track and report on key performance indicators.
Streamline internal channels to ensure an effective internal communication flow between the Spare Parts team and the manufacturing Plants.
Seek out and evaluate direct and alternative sourcing of spare parts, ailing with the Plant operations.
Address any parts-related inquiries or issues from customers and service local operations. Provide support in identifying and sourcing hard-to-find or special-order parts.
Develop and manage the Spare Parts operational budget.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding parts management and safety.
Identify and implement improvements to spare parts management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering.
Previous experience in managing Service Spare Parts operations or Supply Chain area.
8-10 years of relevant management experience in a multinational environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
ERP knowledge is an advantage.
