About the Role: Company:   An Austrian family-owned business and a true “one-stop shop” for customers, providing integrated solutions that streamline processes, reduce interfaces, and optimize internal resources. Main Responsibilities: Strategic leadership and business growth. Process optimization and efficiency improvements. Sales team management and expansion. E-commerce platform development and digital transformation. Strengthening strategic relationships with business partners. Overseeing and coordinating a management team of seven people. Collaboration with both local and international teams. Autonomy in managing internal processes while making key strategic decisions alongside the international management team. Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and standards. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term business strategies to drive sustainable growth, expand market presence, and maintain a competitive edge. Foster innovation and lead key business initiatives. Business Operations & Optimization: Oversee financial performance, implement cost-optimization strategies, and ensure operational excellence in all company processes. Sales Team Management: Adapt and enhance the sales structure to increase market reach and improve access to companies products and services. E-commerce & Digital Transformation: Lead the development of the company’s online sales strategy to enhance accessibility and customer engagement. Stakeholder & Partner Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key partners, ensuring continuous support for manufacturers and the seamless distribution of high-quality products. Future Perspective: In addition to the General Manager role, the selected candidate is expected to transition into the legal administrator of the company (Romania) in the future. Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Previous experience as a General Manager, CEO, or similar executive role, with a strong background in managing mid-sized companies. Industry Knowledge: Experience in a relevant sector The plastic industry but the company is open to professionals from other industries ((e.g., manufacturing, construction, PVC) Leadership & Communication Skills: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration between departments and external partners. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Languages: English: Intermediate to advanced level (mandatory). German: Nice to have but not required. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic business environment. People-oriented approach with a focus on team development. Solution-focused mindset and proactive problem-solving. Organizational and decision-making capabilities. Contract Details: Working Schedule: Full-time, on-site in Lerești, Arges, with regular business trips.
