Candidatul ideal

• Knowledge in the geotechnical / geological field (with particular reference to situations and experiences in complex morphological contexts).
• Ability to analyze and interpret results in geotechnical matters, in reference to geotechnical surveys, laboratory analysis and tests, seismic investigations.
• Knowledge of materials such as cement mixtures, concretes, their main characteristics as well as the tests to which they are generally subjected.
• Experience in similar contexts with soil nailing consolidation works, micropiles, large diameter foundation piles, slope protection with active / passive anchors and restraint systems through rockfall protection nets, etc.

Would be a plus if you have:

• Knowledge of mechanized excavation (TBM).
• Ability to use/interpret specific equipment (e.g. inclinometers) and independently perform the required readings, followed by interpretations and analysis of the results.
• Ability to act independently with regard to the definition of any tests and trials to be performed on site, the drafting of geotechnical monitoring reports (e.g. geomechanical surveys of the face, interpretations of data deriving from in situ tests for foundation piles, etc.).
• Knowledge of the main applications and software for cartographic surveys (CAD, Gis) and of the relevant directives and regulations (Eurocode 7 – Geotechnical Design).

Descrierea jobului

Webuild is looking for a skilled Geologist for our Sibiu – Pitesti Motorway project. You will be assigned on Lot 3. Section 3 is the most complex section of the Sibiu-Pitesti Highway, because it will cross the Carpathians, between Cornetu and Tigveni, on a route 37.4 km long. It is a lot in the mountain area with a 1.7 km tunnel to Poiana, and it will be the longest highway tunnel in Romania. The work itself includes 95 structures, and to be more precise: bridges, viaducts, the tunnel I mentioned, 1 ecoduct, two road junctions, 2 service areas and a Maintenance Center and Coordination.
