Job Description: As the EMEA HR Leader, you will work with some of the most brilliant minds in the industry with the opportunity to build and elevate a thriving company in an environment that values innovation, autonomy, diversity, and integrity. While this role will be based in Bucharest, Romania, you will work across the EMEA region with a variety of workforce models including direct hires, employer of record arrangements and independent consultants. You will manage all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration. This role reports directly to the VP of HR, manages all HR consultants operating in the region and serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders. Key Responsibilities: Manages all aspects of the employee life cycle inclusive of processes, procedures, tools, and systems that support recruitment, onboarding, compensation, performance management and offboarding Manages vendor relationships with local HR providers particularly those that support payroll administration and contractor selections Ensures compliance with relevant legislation and regulations Supports the training and development initiatives Minimum Requirements: 7+ years in HR within a technology, professional services, or corporate environment Bachelor’s degree required Knowledge of statutory compliance in CEE countries Fluent in English and Romanian with excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong understanding of current HR practices, regulations, and trends Experience interacting with HRIS systems Proficient in MS Office suite Preferred Requirements: Exceptional interpersonal skills with conflict resolution expertise Knowledge and experience handling confidential information and formal privacy regulations Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Data and analytical capabilities with use of indicators and success metrics focused Ability to build operational capability and continuously improve and strengthen the HR organization Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop trusted relationships with business partners and customers Experience managing and engaging with collective bargaining environments Powered by JazzHR
