Job Description : Answers to the needs for fast and accurate estimation of the fabric consumption in the stages of (pre-)buying, planning and the execution of cutting.

Main tasks

Calculates the fabric needs for each production order on behalf of the purchase team and creates optimized utilization and cutting solutions for the production teams.
Operates our optimization software Gerber Accuplan®, combined with an analytical mindset and understanding of the use of cutting patterns.

Daily tasks:

Retrieves the newly entered production orders, checks the availability and status of data, initiates and monitors the actions to complete missing information,
Processes the orders through Accuplan® and reports the results to the purchase and planning teams,
Creates optimized solutions on behalf of the production teams,
Substantiates proposals for masterdata updates with accurate figures,
Uses supporting software such as ERP (SAP), Gerber Accunest® and Gerber Accumark®.
