For our client, a Private Equity firm, focused on investing in growth equity in Southeast Europe, we are looking for an Investment Fund Analyst, in Bucharest.

Requirements:

Advanced studies (preferably MSc) with a history of strong academic performance in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Strategy, or equivalent in a top business/engineering school or university;
1-3 years of experience in (Investment) Banking, M&A, Corporate Finance, or Transaction experience preferred, Big 4 experience will also be considered;
Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong analytical abilities and a keen interest in entrepreneurship, investments, and Private Equity;
Knowledge in Excel modeling and company valuations;
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, a tenacious attitude toward research, and the ability to think independently;
Collaborative team player and proactive self-starter;
Preferably, some experience studying or working outside of Romania is needed, though it is not mandatory

Responsibilities:
Researching and identifying attractive companies based on company's investment criteria;
Researching market trends and industry dynamics specific to each investment opportunity;
Preparing business plans and financial models based on a critical assessment of growth strategies for companies;
Preparing in-depth valuations (Enterprise Value and Equity Value), most frequently based on Revenue and EBITDA multiples but also other techniques, depending on the context;
Performing financial and legal due diligence analysis on targeted companies together with external consultants;
Developing Investment Committee documents;
Researching comparable transaction multiples used as a benchmark for valuation;
Participating in weekly meetings, and discussing potential pipeline opportunities with the entire team.
