Description :Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join our team. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for managing and performing work across multiple areasof the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, andtesting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing Java (SpringBoot) applications and experience in building CI/CD pipelinesKey Responsibilities:· Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish businessgoals· Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing andreviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle· Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions· Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies,tools and solutions in the Bank.Requirements:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.· 7+ years of experience in software development· Strong analytical problem solving skills and a structured approach to convertingideas into concepts, design and code· Knowledge of design and architectural patterns· Experience in designing and implementing high availability solutions /microservices· Knowledge and experience of agile values, principles and methods (e.g. based onSCRUM or Kanban)· Proficiency in implementing microservices with Java and Spring Boot· Experience with SDLC tools – Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Github· Knowledge and experience on OWASP, oAuth2, OpenID Connect forAuthentication and Authorization , TLS / SSL· Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, or equivalent.Preferred:· Automation mindset and experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines,ideally Github Actions· Knowledge and experience in cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform(GCP)· Knowledge of Linux, Docker, SQL, Kafka/PubSub· Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript on Node.jsOur values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
