Role Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and adaptable individual to join our team as a Research & Market Intelligence Associate. This role focuses on uncovering actionable insights through rigorous research, creative problem-solving, and strategic analysis. Success in this position means delivering data-driven recommendations that enable the organization to anticipate market shifts, innovate proactively, and mitigate risks. This role is critical to our organization’s ability to stay ahead of trends, refine customer engagement strategies, and drive informed decision-making across teams.

What Success Looks Like

  • Short-Term (3–6 Months): Rapidly mastering internal tools and processes, building foundational knowledge of target markets, and delivering clear, well-structured reports.
  • Long-Term (12+ Months): Independently identifying high-impact opportunities or risks, influencing strategic decisions, and contributing to measurable improvements in market positioning or operational efficiency.

How This Role Fits into the Organization

You will act as the “eyes and ears” of the organization, bridging gaps between data, strategy, and execution. Your insights will directly inform marketing campaigns, product development, and customer experience initiatives. By synthesizing complex information into actionable steps, you’ll empower teams to act swiftly and confidently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-depth online research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and untapped market opportunities.
  2. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate reports that guide marketing, sales, and operational decisions.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  4. Design and test innovative approaches to data collection and analysis, embracing trial-and-error learning.
  5. Engage with stakeholders (internal and external) to gather feedback, validate hypotheses, and refine recommendations.
  6. Monitor global market conditions and geopolitical developments to assess potential impacts on the business.
  7. Present findings in clear, visually compelling formats (e.g., dashboards, slide decks) tailored to diverse audiences.

QualificationsSkills & Attributes

  • Cognitive Agility: High problem-solving aptitude, with the ability to connect disparate information and identify patterns.
  • Research Excellence: Proficiency in advanced online research techniques (e.g., Boolean search, database navigation).
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong numerical literacy and comfort working with spreadsheets, data visualization tools, or basic statistical concepts.
  • People-Centric Communication: Ability to build rapport, ask probing questions, and explain complex ideas in simple terms.
  • Growth Mindset: Fearlessness in experimenting with new tools/methods and iterating based on feedback.
  • Language: C1 English (or higher) with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or a related field (open to recent graduates or career-changers).

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Tableau.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles (SEO, social media algorithms).
