Logistics Operations Systems Specialist
The Role:
Your main objective will be to maximize operational efficiency by training logistics teams on the company's Warehouse Management System and its core processes.
Main Responsibilities:
• Enhance operational efficiency by training logistics teams on the Warehouse Management System’s features and core processes.
• Monitor and support the integration and performance of systems to ensure they operate at their best.
• Provide operational support to the Distribution Center, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
• Track system performance, including updates and developments for various interfaces such as Warehouse Management, Control, and Programmable Logic Controller systems.
• Act as the point of communication for change requests between the third-party logistics team and the Distribution Center Manager or Regional Sales and Operations.
• Distribute and explain system updates to the logistics teams, monitor their implementation, and follow up on performance outcomes.
• Ensure all systems are used effectively to provide the best service possible and maintain business continuity.
• Manage and respond to incidents efficiently by participating in issue resolution calls and providing thorough reporting when needed.
• Maintain the high quality of all technology system-related procedures, ensuring proper implementation.
• Conduct business process audits to verify compliance with company standards.
• Serve as the spokesperson for standards related to product safety, sustainability, and compliance, ensuring adherence by both global and local teams.
• Support the Distribution Center Manager in implementing all operational, system, and service requirements for the logistics team, including system updates.
