OCEAN FREIGHT FORWARDER

THE ROLE:

The Ocean Freight Forwarder is responsible for customer service, quotations and organisation of ocean freight shipments on a day-to day basis. Her/his duties include:

• Active communication with customers and analysis of their requests for ocean freight FCL and LCL services
• Daily contact with ocean carriers, agents and other service providers, striving to ensure competitive rates and conditions
• Providing freight quotations and solutions best matching clients` needs
• Executing the ocean freight forwarding operations and coordinating the shipments support activities like pick up/delivery, customs clearance and other additional services if needed
• Monitoring the service fulfilment and keeping clients and partners informed about the status of the shipments
• Shipments data entry in the company ERP system, handling the respective documents, including invoicing
• Respect the standard operational procedures and following the internal rules of the company
• Contribution to busines development of the company ocean services
