Your Role and Responsibilities

For our client we are building a new technical platform based on RedHat OpenShift / IaaS Windows Linux in a private cloud from the government. On top of this platform a multitude of applications are going to be hosted in time, delivered by multiple vendors.
The project is looking for OpenShift Administrator with Istio knowledge. Has good understanding of GitOps (ArgoCD), Gitlab. You will be working on the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the clusters. Additionally, your expertise in Istio will involve managing service mesh configurations, traffic routing, and implementing security policies within the Istio environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1. OpenShift: Proficiency in OpenShift or Kubernetes administration, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of clusters.
2. Istio: Expertise in Istio, including: * Service mesh configurations * Traffic routing * Implementing security policies within the Istio environment
3. GitOps: Understanding of GitOps principles and experience with ArgoCD.
4. Gitlab: Familiarity with Gitlab, including version control and CI/CD pipelines.
