This role will act as a global resource supporting the projects / programs with weight input and analysis for current and proposed products. They will also collaborate with local and global cross-functional teams to develop forward thinking and innovative ideas related to weight architecture.Responsibilities:Proactively investigate the weight of components/systems/deliverables throughout the maturity of projects.Verify that weight targets are met to satisfy applicable project gate fulfillments.Estimate weight for future products.Calculate axle loads and weight distribution to comply with legal restrictions.Analyze the outcome/answers to confirm the accuracy.Provide project updates to the weight architect team at specified gates/intervals to track and forecast vehicle weights.QualificationsExperience in a similar position 1-2 yearsProfessional expertise in the automotive engineering, particularly in automobile body architecture designExperience in bodywork equipment parts and systems, in product process feasibility studies is a plusKnowledge about thermal and electrical automotive engineering and design, product process feasibility study and industrialization in the fields of mechanical welding, stamping, foundry, plastics processing, hydraulics, assembly of lighting parts, signaling, horns, exterior accessories, interior trim, driving position, rearview systems, wiping, glazing, sealing, mechanism opening, discovery systems and seatsExpertise in design and validation methods such as functional analysis, and geometry deployment (isostatisms, chain of dimensions)Good knowledge of Catia V6, FMEA, ANPQP approach, Mastery of New PDM, associated Product Data Management (PDM)English proficiency levelAdditional InformationOur benefits are:Meal tickets;Gift tickets;Life and Health Insurance;Medical subscription to a private clinic;Partnership with a dental clinic;Christmas party;An environment favourable to the development of autonomy;Opportunities for growth;Bonuses from referrals;French and English course.According to the Romanian laws we offer:Glasses compensation.
