Plant Process Engineer About the Role Location Romania Bucuresti Bucharest Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote/Office) Company Siemens Energy Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Project Entity Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your DayThe mission of our Plant Process Engineer is to design and calculate water/steam power plant systems and auxiliary components (, pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels, valves, pipelines etc.).How You'll Make an ImpactSystem design (piping and instrumentation diagrams P&IDs) for balance of plant systems ( water/steam cycle, cooling water, fuel supply, auxiliaries)Prepare affiliated documents , operational concept, P&IDs, system descriptions, application of design- and calculation toolsDescribe corresponding system / plant operation, such as start-up and shut down concepts, safe operation under all operating conditions under guidance of a team lead.Prepare technical specifications and inquiry documentationParticipate in engineering and optimization of interfacesReview contractors’ engineeringCoordinate the preparation of customer documentation/O&M ManualEvaluate customer specificationsManage the Engineering Database (COMOS) workflow with other disciplinesProgramming of plant control systemSupport site activities during construction and commissioning.What You BringBachelor´s degree in the field of Engineering or other related field, preferably within the field of process engineering or renewable energy systems or other related field, Minimum 2 years’ experience in plant engineering/construction.Willingness for training and further education in specific process engineering fields.Self-motivation with high energy drive and business sense.Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
