  You are accountable to create the strategic direction to leverage Plant Optimization methodology to coach leaders and pillar champions to deliver results and sustain improvements. Ensure discipline to the methodology to make Plant Optimization the operating system, teaching and educating associates.   Act as a key member of the Plant Steeering Team and report to the site Manufacturing Director.

  You are responsibile to drive the progress and effectiveness of application of methodology of each pillar implementation against master plan and, in partnership with plant optimization specialists and pillar leaders, develop contingency/recovery plans necessary to improve plant KPIs and deliver business results.  Drive gap closures from PO maturity assessment when appropriate.

  You are request to coach the plant pillar leaders and other associates on the cultural transformation of Plant Optimization (change management). Model and teach the behaviors that reinforce the methodology.

  You On Focused Improvement front, define strategy and guide the execution. As capabilities development, provide trainings, coaching and advising, creating problems solvers throughout the plant. Educate and ensure the execution of pillar process for FI, from perfect business alignment and deliverables targets, throught losses analysis and priorization, for correct tool application in a wide range of projects, creating sustainable results in a continous improvement cycle.

  You are requsted to conduct pillar audits to ensure adherence to the methodology and participate in the plant's Daily Management System (DMS) to sustain improvement gains.

  You are requested to provide clear, concise and direct feedback to Plant and Regional leadership on successes and challenges to replicate and sustain improvements. Partner with Regional Plant Optimization Manager to ensure maximum effectiveness of PO deployment plans.

  
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
  
• You with 3+ years’ experience on managing plant continuous improvement & Focused Improvement department; Minimum of 5 years in leadership role within manufacturing environment.
  
  
• You with 3+ years' experience on application of continuous improvement and Focused Improvement tools in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge and/or experience in implementing Lean principles in a Mfg environment. 
  
  
• You experienced in leading/teaching and mentoring projects across multiple sites & driving change management initiatives.
  
  
• You with Additional experience on manufacturing (Production Specialist or Business Center Manager as examples) is recommended.
  
  
• You are ability to work across all levels of the organization: to include hourly workers through executive management.
  
  
• You with knowledge of establishing, monitoring & rewarding based upon output standards.
  
  
• You with expert knowledge of Focused Improvement, Six Sigma Methodology and Master Black Belt. 
  
  
• You can show evidence of ability to teach, guide & mentor others & demonstrates some leadership ability.
