You will work in a highly specialised psychiatry department in Denmark’s public healthcare sector. There are positions in general and geriatric psychiatry at university and regional hospitals.

The department works with a broad range of diagnostic and treatment profiles besides the common mental disorders, like depression and anxiety. The psychiatry department’s daily assignments include the diagnosis and treatment of general psychiatric mental disorders in interdisciplinary cooperation with other specialised teams and wards. This often involves psychiatrists working within teams, together with psychologists, nurses and social workers.

Teamwork and patient-oriented perspective is highly appreciated in the department.

Your daily tasks include diagnostics and treatment on an inpatient ward. Focus on acute patients.
