The Systems Engineers work closely with local and remote sales teams to provide technical advice, guidelines and best practices for Veeam public cloud products to Veeam prospects and partners. This position might require occasional travel for on-site customer and partner visits and marketing activities, but usually involves remote interaction through phone or webex.

Job Functions:

• Provide web-based presentations and demonstrations of Veeam public cloud software for prospects and partners
• Answer technical related questions of prospects and partners via mails and phone
• Provide pre-sales support and/or POC assistance to customers as they evaluate Veeam software
• Work with Sales teams to improve their technical understanding of Veeam Software products through trainings in class
• Assist Sales in occasional on-site meetings with prospects and partners
• Update technical details of the followed projects in Veeam CRM system (SalesForce.com)
• Self-education on sales and technical related matters
• Developing a solid working knowledge on public cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and Veeam Software products and keep track of new product releases (Veeam and competition) as well as marketing updates
• Fulfill professional goals and targets based on performance indicators

Job Requirements: 

• Deep experience with hypervisor technologies from multiple vendors including VMware and Hyper-V
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cloud Native technologies on at least one of the major cloud services providers (Microsoft Azure preferred). Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services such as Azure VMware, Azure VMs, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage accounts, Azure Backup
• Microsoft Azure Security and Compliance: Implement Microsoft Azure security best practices, including IAM policies, VNET design, network security groups, Azure Firewall, Service principals and Azure Key Vault.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EFS, FSX, DynamoDB, Redshift, AWS Backup
• Understanding of AWS VPC configuration, including VPN connections, NAT gateways, Endpoints and peering.
• Understanding of Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions in Cloud, best practices and principles
• Experience with migration patterns from on-premises to Cloud
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
• Proficiency in an additional language is a plus (French/German)
