To work with other functions on process improvement by using various improvement tools. To involve in designing functional level policies or procedures and driving standardization. Responsible for the HSE activities for quality department, including SAQ, BBS, LSR、PSRS To define business and operational requirements and establish process documents. To understand & manage customer complaints and drive necessary process changes. To measure process performance, report, review and drive improvement. To serve as Quality Management Representative at Specialty Coatings site. To ensure that processes needed for the Quality & Hazardous Substances Free (HSF) management systems are established, documented, implemented and maintained to meet business, internal, customer, certification & regulatory requirements. To report to top management on the performance of the quality & HSF management systems and any need for improvement. To ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements, including HSF related requirements, throughout the organization. To liaise with external parties (e.g. certification body, customer, local authority, corporate HQ & etc.) on matters relating to the quality & HSF management systems. To ensure quality control system is effective and adequacy. To achieve continual improvement in quality control system. RESPONSIBILITIES To ensure proper and effective implementation of Quality & HSF Management Systems in accordance with ISO, CCC, IATF, AS, CAAC, statutory & regulatory requirements, customers specific requirements & corporate directives. To plan, conduct & follow-up internal audits. To plan, facilitate & follow-up monthly management meeting & yearly management review meeting. To coordinate Quality & HSF related second and third-party audits. To support Purchasing Department performing audit on suppliers. To ensure corrections & corrective actions are taken without undue delay in accordance with external and internal audit findings. To lead cross functional group developing Control Plan & FMEA. To solve quality & HSF related problems by identifying & eliminating root cause using defined process (e.g. 8-D, 5why, error-proofing & etc.). To study the characteristics & trends of processes & products and recommend continual improvement opportunities. To drive continual improvement efforts by coordinating with other functions in establishing measurable quality objectives. To coordinate, monitor, analyze, follow up & report external customer complaints. To identify quality & HSF related training needs for the employees to complement the management systems requirements. To Monitor and adjust QA/QC system to ensure its effectiveness and adequacy. Set an example on BBS, near miss activities. Provide risk assessment training to all own team and review at least one task risk assessment done by each direct report. To help RQM and GQM facilitate kinds of Quality campaigns. Job Description Review the Site’s Quality/HSF procedures. Issue 8D report for Corrective / Preventive Action Request form to related department for actions. To stop any action which is negative to the effectiveness of Quality & HSF management systems. To stop the production when significant Quality/HSF nonconformity happen. To release production batches or incoming raw materials if necessary. Job Requirements College degree & above Minimums 5 years paint industryworking experiencein Quality, HSF & CCC Management/Control Systems Familiar with ISO, preferably with Leader Auditor certification Familiar with IATF operation, maintenance and its five core tools such as APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA & MSA Familiar with HSF & GB requirements Familiar with AS quality system requirements Good English skill, both oral and written Good Microsoft Office skills Good teamwork and communication skills At AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
