As a Receptionist (exclusively night shift), you will:
* Accurately check mailings and documents processed during the day at the front desk.
* Record, store, access and/or analyze computerized financial information.
* Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for the hotel in accordance with cash management policy and procedures.
* Organize and secure all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.
* Prepare and distribute statistical, financial, accounting or audit reports and tables. Audit and reconcile all revenue records.
* Process in the computer system all guest arrivals confirming reservations, allocating rooms issuing and activating room access cards;
* Process all payment types such as recorded room payments, cash, debit or credit;
* Process all check-outs and resolve any disputes related to payment amounts;
* Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, inquiries or concerns;
* Collaborate with the Housekeeping department to follow up the preparation of rooms for guest accommodation;
* Provide guests with instructions and information regarding the hotel and local areas of interest;
* Comply with tax and accounting rules regarding the collection and recording of income;
