Join our Finance team and play a critical role in financial planning, reporting and analysis while collaborating closely with Business Unit Managers. Your contributions will drive accurate decision-making and ensure compliance with company standards.
Role Overview
As a Reporting Officer, you will:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad-hoc financial reports.
Deliver budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with Business Unit Managers.
Ensure accurate tracking of financial performance against budgets and provide actionable insights.
Streamline reporting processes, design templates, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
1. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for business units both for management and statutory purposes.
Conduct comparative analyses to identify trends, variations, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and deliver standardized and ad-hoc reports using tools like Tableau and Excel.
Calculate monthly accruals for revenue recognition in line with company standards.
Track and analyse timesheets and time allocation by personnel across various implementation projects and products to ensure accurate reporting and productivity monitoring.
Follow-up on revenue from contracts for software implementation projects.
Check the projects database to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Monitor project profitability, follow-up and perform cost reallocations, propose corrections.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Collaborate with business unit managers to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor and analyse variances between actual results and budgets.
3. Process Improvement
Focus on automating reporting processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Design and implement improved reporting templates and processes to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate across teams to identify and implement best practices in financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (RAS & IFRS).
