From the Role

This role will involve the development and maintenance of hardware products for embedded Linux systems and audio processing. The product portfolio consists of IP-based user terminals, interface devices, installation accessories, PC units, and ship consoles. Since most of the products are used in the maritime sector and defense market, there is a strong focus on environmental requirements for these sectors.

Tasks

• Requirements breakdown according to the V-model
• System design and documentation
• Schematic and PCB layout
• Bill of materials definition along with supply chain coordination
• Hardware ordering and management of our laboratory
• Planning and conducting verification tests (e.g., EMC, temperature, and performance).

From the Profile

This role requires a person who enjoys learning and collaborating with many stakeholders. I am looking for a candidate with experience in electronic design tools to create schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.

I expect you to have a B.Sc. in electrical engineering or electronic hardware engineering combined with several years of experience in a secure position.

You will be in a global environment, and we are looking for candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We interact with stakeholders, so we need good communicators who enjoy engaging with others and can speak/write in English.
