• Lead Responsibility of specific SAP Modules/functionalities (SAP – PS/MM)
• General understanding of other SAP modules and their interfaces into MM & PS
• Excellent Understanding of Specific SAP Modules or Business Application functionality and capability
• Responsible for managing and administering entire SAP module including evaluation of user requests for system modifications, planning, developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing business processes within given modules
• Interact and negotiate with vendors and contractors to secure SAP consulting services when needed and consistently drive costs down
• Insure integrity and stability of given SAP Module/Business Application
• Ensure that any work undertaken complies with relevant business and system standards and continuously look for and define best practices.
• Work with the business to ensure business process design is plausible while identifying the impact of changes on all parts of the system. Ensure solution is integrated with processes outside own scope.
• Responsible for providing IT solutions to Business problems through regular business process review and improvements with focus on user acceptance.
• Coordinate with department heads to assess departmental SAP application training needs and objectives, and develop training program for new and/or inexperienced users.
• Work with Help Desk in order to better support the user group: training, keep documentation current, roll out new initiatives etc.
• Plan, lead and project manage improvement projects
