Job Purpose:
The Senior Accounting Officer role within Logwin Romania ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and internal group guidelines, and efficient management of financial records. The role involves improving accounting processes, aligning financial practices within organisation, to maintain a solid financial foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Processes & Management:

• Ensure accurate and complete recording of financial transactions in SAP, in compliance with accounting and tax regulations;
• Provide support in the monthly and annual closing of accounts as well as annual budgets and financial forecasts;
• Supervise financial statements preparation with external supplier (balance sheet, profit and loss account) and ensure timely delivery;
• Incorporate group guidelines and requirements into local processes;
• Ensure AR/AP process for timely collections and payments.

Taxes and Levies:

• Supervise and ensure the accuracy of tax calculations and payments (e.g., TVA, corporate tax, etc.);
• Participate in the preparation of tax returns and their submission to the competent authorities;
• Responsible in relation with RO Fiscal platform, ANAF ( e.g. RO E Factura/RO E Transport ).

Internal and External Audits:

• Actively participate in internal and external audits, providing support to audit teams and supplying necessary documents;
• Ensure the implementation of audit recommendations and improve internal financial processes.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Monitor and implement legislative changes that affect the company’s financial and accounting activities.
