Info about our partner / employer:
- Our partner is a fast-growing company, part of an Investment Group from Czech Republic and the 4th largest gambling company in terms of retail market share in Romania with 900+ shops across the whole country, 90% of them being franchised;
- There are three key companies forming the Group, offering retail sports betting, slot machines, online sports betting and casino.
Reporting to Chief Accountant and Finance Director / CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares, reviews, and submits monthly financial statements under RAS and IFRS;
- Prepares, reviews, and submits monthly statements (D300, D390, D394);
- Posts revenues, COS, administrative expenses by verifying and entering transactions;
- Check and post differed accruals (income and expenses);
- Prepares, reviews, and submits monthly statistical statements (ONJN, AFM, BNR, INS);
- In charge with processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets;
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from the responsible departments involved in the process;
- Maintain accounting ledgers as required;
- Audit ledgers to ensure they contain correct information;
- Engages management over any problems encountered and proposes solutions;
- Responsible for maintaining relations with state authorities (ANAF, DGITL);
- Support for internal and external audits.
Requirements & Competencies:
- Economics graduate in Accounting or Finance, with more than 5 years of experience in local (RAS) and international accounting (IFRS);
- Excellent computer knowledge (especially EXCEL) plus the ability to work with special accounting software (i.e. SAGA);
- Clear and concise communication both spoken and written in English;
- CECCAR or ACCA / CIMA member – a great advantage;
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically;
- Proven ability to organize and clearly communicate thoughts and ideas;
- Very good interpersonal, motivational, and leadership skills;
- Process-oriented, organized, structured, and detailed;
- Ability to manage uncertainty and to work within difficult contexts;
- Pro-active attitude.
