Your Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll;
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and completeness;
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries;
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.

2. Compliance and Regulation:

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS and relevant tax laws;
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and transparency;
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
• Secure financial information by completing database backups.

3. Analysis and Insights:

• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management for informed decision-making;
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results;
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounting department.

4. Relationship Management:

• Liaise and maintain effective communication with external legal counsel, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders;
• Assist in managing relationships with external service providers and negotiating fee arrangements as necessary;
• Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
