The Inside Systems Engineer, Cloud is responsible for working closely with the Inside Sales department and to help inform, educate and influence partners, resellers and end users of our product offerings. Responsibilities include the ability to present Veeam messaging to varying numbers and levels of decision makers. You will be responsible for the creation of content and delivery of demonstrations to support Veeam messaging. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent Veeam Inside Systems Engineer with an ability to partner with other groups within the sales and support organization to close sales. The role requires strengths and a background in defining architectural strategies to guide customers toward the adoption of Veeam technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise in the Veeam product suites to customers, partners, service providers and internal Veeam teams
• Attend marketing and technical presentations representing Veeam at a subject matter expert level
• Develop and articulate technology solutions that meet service providers needs and align with their business objectives
• Analyze technical, strategic and partner requirements. Translate the customer requirements into effective Veeam solutions to grow and secure Veeam product portfolio with our partners
• Collaborate with the customer/partner to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements
• Independently consult with customer base to provide technical expertise on data protection
• Work closely with the sales department to secure new partners and customers
• Work closely with Product Management to provide customer feedback
• Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions or procedures
• Acts as point-of-reference for new hires and peer colleagues

Requirements:

• Industry based experience in storage, network and databses strongly desired 
• Deep experience with hypervisor technologies from multiple vendors including VMware, Microsoft and RedHat
• Experience with MSP operations including SaaS, IaaS, BaaS and DRaaS
• Experience and understanding of the top three hyperscalers (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud)
• Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter and be able to learn new technologies quickly
• Excellent time management skills required
• Understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• German proficiency - highly desirable 
• Industry relevant professional certifications are desirable
• Ability to travel up to 20% per quarter
