What we expect from you:

• University degree, preferably in Construction or related;
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar position;
• Experience in construction business, preferably infrastructure, is an advantage;
• Fluency in English;
• Solid computer skills (proficient in Word and Excel, data base management would be a plus);
• Excellent negotiation skills and supplier management skills;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Proven experience to work under pressure and manage to meet deadlines, prioritize workload and adapt to project needs;
• Strong attention to detail and the maturity to handle confidential information is a must;
• Proactive, responsible and result-oriented person;
• Team-player with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Driving license cat. B is a plus.

What you will do:

• Develop strong business relationships with external suppliers;
• Oversee all aspects of purchasing, negotiation, strategy, process implementation;
• Purchase materials, equipment, supplies in accordance with Group policies, standards, procedures and limit of authority;
• Be actively involved in the whole procurement process (request for quotations, price comparison, negotiation of offers, contractual clauses, contract awarding);
• Negotiate favorable contractual terms and conditions (price, delivery, quantity, payment, scope of work, change orders etc.);
• Implement global procurement strategies locally, drive cost savings and improve terms and conditions;
• Continuously analyze and evaluate suppliers;
• Monitor the procurement process and ensure that these is in line with project specifications and adheres to the established agreements and contracts, report nonconformities if the case;
• Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiency;
• Create and maintain the supplier database up to date;
• Comply with the standards of the Gülermak Group.
