Responsibilities:
- Participates in the implementation of the annual sales plan for the designated product categories, according to the position objective (volume, CA, product mix, Gross Margin);
- Establishes and develops the product range;
- Establishes the strategy for the category / product categories in the portfolio for which he/she is responsible
- Analyzes the product range versus competitors and the market and correlates internal reports with market studies provided by collaborating agencies;
- Analyzes the market and competition in terms of pricing policies;
- Prospects the local market and identifies opportunities and development strategy;
- Establishes the price/discount policy as well as the price list in accordance with the company's strategy, the company's sales objectives and those referring to profitability (Gross Margin);
- Defines new products within the range and analyzes the price positioning for new products (requested purchase price - TP, proposes list price);
- Accurately prepares and submits on time the periodic reports requested by the direct superior (prices, competitors, promotions);
- Collaborates with the Brand Manager for: brand/product category promotion activities, market research proposals with reference to the brand, proposals for tactical marketing actions aimed at stimulating product sales;
- Ensures permanent and active communication with the company's internal customers;
- Collaborates with KAM in order to achieve turnover, establish prices, discounts, decisions on promotions and actions dedicated to the customer's point of sale;
- Manages relationships with factories/Supply Chain/PM/HQ to ensure the operationalization of processes;
- Approves documents related to the activity of the categories they manage;
- Makes store visits in order to prospect for needs and propose development measures for the brand's products;
- Coordinates PM support in order to create the necessary documentation for the brand's products;
- Involved in R&D and product design actions of the brand/category, from the point of view of the benefits offered by it to consumers.
- Permanently analyzes opportunities for improvement in the area of activity, considering the efficiency of allocated resources (processes, costs, time).
