We are looking for an Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.

Under general supervision of the Information Systems Manager, this position contributes to maintaining the information technology environment of Teleperformance Romania and Teleperformance Portugal. The Senior Systems Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house and cloud information systems that support organizational functions. This is achieved by designing, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing Teleperformance’s systems and platforms.

This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to Systems Engineers and Helpdesk staff.

We are looking for somebody with a lot ︉︇︄︍︈︋︋️​︂︆︄︃​︁︁︎︌​︈︂︇︍​︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎of drive, initiative and willingness to contribute to our team, but we will also look at the following criteria in order to choose the most suitable colleague:

• English language: Intermediate – Mandatory.
• 5 years of experience as Senior systems engineer/administrator or systems engineer/administrator.
• Hibrid working module - 1-2 days from the office per week;
• IT Systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
• Servers & storages hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Storage platforms specifically SAN & NAS.
• Microsoft Operating Systems up to Windows 2022 Server and Windows 11.
• AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File Server.
• VMWare technology i.e. VSphere, VCenter.
• Linux servers’ installation, administration and maintenance – Nice to have.
• Good project management skills.
• ITIL – Nice to have.
• PCI DSS – Nice to have.
• Azure cloud (MS Entra ID, IaaS, PaaS) – Nice to have.

These will be the main objectives and areas of responsibility:

• Collaborate with IT and non-IT staff using various communication methods (Email, IM, ticketing system) to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Design and deploy new systems and enhancements to existing ones.
• Propose and create system design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system administrators and applications teams.
• Installs, configures, and maintains new and/or existing servers’ hardware.
• Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.
