About the Role
As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our boutique, ensuring smooth processes, an exceptional customer experience, and the growth of the brand in Bucharest. You will manage all aspects of the boutique, from inventory to customer service, and inspire your team to achieve sales targets while upholding the elegance and authenticity of Comtesse du Barry’s gourmet offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience: Greet each client with warmth and expertise, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience and personalized service that reflects Comtesse du Barry’s brand values.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate staff, creating a positive and collaborative work environment focused on customer satisfaction and product knowledge.
Sales & Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, inventory control, and replenishment to ensure product availability, optimizing the boutique’s layout to maximize sales opportunities.
Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our product offerings, including French delicacies, wines, and gifting options, to confidently advise clients and share the story behind each product.
Merchandising: Maintain visual standards, ensuring the boutique is beautifully presented and consistent with the Comtesse du Barry brand aesthetic.
Sales Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze customer buying trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve monthly targets.
Event Planning: Organize in-store events, tastings, and promotional activities to engage the community and attract new customers.
Brand Ambassador: Represent Comtesse du Barry at local events, networking opportunities, and through partnerships, elevating brand awareness and recognition.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably within the gourmet, luxury, or high-end food industry.
Knowledge & Passion: A strong interest in French gastronomy and the ability to share product stories and recommendations with enthusiasm.
Sales Skills: A track record of meeting sales targets, with the ability to drive results through excellent customer service and store presentation.
Languages: Fluency in English and Romanian; knowledge of French is a plus.
Professional Demeanor: Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills, with a positive, client-oriented approach.
Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and attend events as required by the business.
