The position As a Supply Chain Business Partner at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for engaging in demand planning and supporting the S&OP process with key functions. In addition, you will be responsible for updating rolling stock and forecasts monthly and managing the Global Forecasting System. Your main accountabilities will be to: Provide decision support to management by performing analytical and data-driven analyses, preparing business cases, and supporting the development and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) Develop and calculate annual forecasts, in-market sales, and affiliate ambition Handle orders, including placing purchase orders in SAP and managing logistics until arrival in the home country. Ensure smooth customs clearance by coordinating with the customs clearance broker Manage and track inventory at the third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse and oversee the selling process to distributors. Report market sales performance, in-market sales, and inventory monthly Update and agree on monthly demand with the sales and operations team. Support the launch excellence of new products in the affiliate Qualifications As a Finance Assistant at Novo Nordisk, you will need to have a minimum of 4 years of supply chain experience within pharmaceutical or FMCG industries. Moreover, you need to have experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. To be successful in this role you should have: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, economics, business, or related areas Experience in demand planning and forecasting Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills Experience in providing decision support to management, including preparing business cases with analysis to back them up Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop compelling and simple communication material for senior and executive management Strong organizational and time management skills Fast in identifying the problem and providing possible solutions Proficiency in computer skills, including PowerPoint and Excel Excellent English and Romanian skills, both spoken and written About the department You will join our Supply Chain team based in Bucharest, Romania.
