Working closely with our teams in France, as a Tech Manager, you will manage a team of developers within a Squad Team to make it more efficient on a day-to-day basis. You will work closely with the Product and Tech teams to anticipate future projects.
You will play a key role within the development team and be responsible for managing and developing engineers while participating in the definition and execution of technical projects of the Orchestra platform.
Your main responsibilities will include :
- Team management and leadership: Supervise a team of engineers and foster their professional growth, ensuring personalized follow-up, skill development, and motivation of each team member.
- Technical project management: Collaborate with product, design, and other technical teams in France to define, plan, and deliver high-value projects within the set deadlines and quality standards.
- Continuous improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing practices and processes aiming at optimizing productivity and code quality.
- Setting priorities and objectives: Determine priorities and set clear goals for the team, ensuring a balance between innovation and solution reliability.
- Technical responsibility: Participate in major architecture decisions and technical choices with the French Team, ensuring the performance, maintainability, and scalability of the implemented solutions.
- Technological watch: Stay up to date on new technologies, methodologies, and tools, and propose relevant solutions when appropriate.
- Communication and collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and other stakeholders located in France (product, operations, etc.), ensuring smooth and effective communication.
- Recruitment: Actively participate in the recruitment process to strengthen the team by attracting and integrating new talents.
- Performance monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the successful execution of projects and the team's effectiveness.
In an Agile environment, you will work with the following technologies and tools: Java 7, Java 8, Java 11, Java 17 and beyond, Struts2, Spring, SpringBoot, JavaScript, ReactJS, SQL, Rest API, WS Soap, Docker, JBoss/Wildfly, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, IntelliJ, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Trello, Gitlab, Eclipse, and more.
