Job Description Position Overview    We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in collaboration with our client on an unannounced AAA game built on their in-house Frostbite engine. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work with a dynamic international team on a cutting-edge project. The role requires a solid engineering background with experience, or strong interest, in UI/UX design and implementation.    Responsibilities:  Technical  Collaborate closely with other Technical UX Designers and engineers across Endava and our client/co-developing team.  Write maintainable, high-quality code using Frostbite's visual scripting language (similar to Unreal Engine's Blueprint).  Implement user interface logic and ensure seamless data integration with backend systems.  Identify and implement improvements in UX implementation and workflow processes.  Work with Engineering and Project Management to review UI features, assess scope, and estimate the development of new features.  Art   Accurately implement UI screens and presentation elements based on design files.  Create functional UI elements within the Frostbite editor, utilizing the entity component system (similar to Unity's interface and workflow).  Deliver high-quality assets with close attention to visual detail.  Qualifications General   Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with a wide range of audiences, including artists, engineers, and managers.  Solid understanding of the game development life cycle.  Minimum of 2 years' experience in game development or a related industry.  Ability to effectively communicate updates and resolutions to team members, customers, and stakeholders.  Experience in creating detailed technical documentation.  A passion for continuous improvement and delivering progress.  Technical  Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.  Proven experience in writing high-quality, performant code.  Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).  Ability to debug technical issues effectively and document both the issues and resolutions.  Deep understanding of software design principles.  Proficiency in fundamental mathematics.  Art   Strong grasp of composition principles and foundational knowledge of ratios, typography, color theory, usability, and general human interface concepts.  Advanced understanding of UI/UX structures, including user flow and interaction.  Good sense of motion graphics and animation for UI/HUD elements.  High proficiency in implementing and optimizing assets to meet engine requirements.  Preferred Skills:  Professional experience with Unreal (UMG, blueprint) or Unity (NGUI, UGUI, visual scripting).  Professional experience with Unity C# scripting .  Undergraduate degree on Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics.  Experience with Graphics/Art related field is a big plus.  High level of proficiency with Figma and Adobe Suite.  Portfolio Requirements  Must provide current samples of work demonstrating skillsets relevant to the requirements outlined in the “Requirements:” section.    *Because our company is international with a variety of first languages among management, please submit an English resume along with your application.   Additional Information Discover some of the global benefits that empower our people to become the best version of themselves: Finance:  Competitive salary package, share plan, company performance bonuses, value-based recognition awards, referral bonus;    Career Development : Career coaching, global career opportunities, non-linear career paths, internal development programmes for management and technical leadership; Learning Opportunities:  Complex projects, rotations, internal tech communities, training, certifications, coaching, online learning platforms subscriptions, pass-it-on sessions, workshops, conferences; Work-Life Balance:  Hybrid work and flexible working hours, employee assistance programme; Health:  Global internal wellbeing programme, access to wellbeing apps; Community:  Global internal tech communities, hobby clubs and interest groups, inclusion and diversity programmes, events and celebrations.
