Coordinate the logistics operation in SEE plant warehouses and external warehouses, ensuring a correct and effective storage and costs optimization.
Responsibilities:
Set the long-term vision for the warehouses in line with the strategic plan and to ensure that future volumes and customer service requirements can be met
Develop and maintain a productive work team by creating programs for hiring, training and professional development
Manage, motivate and develop the team, according with their development plans;
Apply sound communication and motivational techniques, create programs to supervise, counsel and discipline associates
Drive continuous improvement in the cost-efficiency of the operations
Reduce the effect of the warehousing operations on the environment.
Ensure the procedures, regulations and rules are accomplished by the team;
Define the strategy and the action plans for the short-term period;
Define and review procedures, regulations, manuals, management procedures and team functions;
Follow the needs of forklifts, tablets, safety devices and other equipment's used by the team;
Prepare the budget and follow the budget accomplishment, including the needs for external warehouses;
Search and benchmark new developments of the distribution process and operation;
Monitor the Key Performance Indicators to control the operation;
Follow and monitor the projects under implementation;
Promote discussions to solve structural problems, ensuring an end-to-end group view including all the departments related;Study the feasibility of the investments and major repairs to be done within the current year or to be included in the investments plans for next years
