Responsibilities :
- Handling incoming and out coming telephone calls, mail and correspondence from / to customers, dealers, insurance companies, lawyers and experts including validating their identity, checking data for correctness, and forwarding calls / mail / correspondence to the relevant department if necessary.
- Processing of all client inquiries including diligent verification, proper data entry and approval within the scope of work or processing for approval by a higher level of competence.
- Placing incoming customer/dealer orders received by telephone, post, fax, e-mail using available systems, including: processing requests for contract replacements (financing and leasing) and account statements ; constant maintenance of customer database, such as address, bank and payment details, carrying out authorization, administration and verification of vehicle documentation; creation and processing of system inquiries.
- Processing of repair damage including invoice requests and authorization of insurance coverage.
- Address research based on available reports and system information.
- Processing of up to 45 days overdue customer contracts using the collection system: dispatch of system letters from the collection system; agreement of payment dates for up to 45 days overdue contracts; documentation of customer contacts and agreements in the collection system.
Requirements:
- Fluency in spoken and written German language - Candidate should be able to hold seamless conversations in German over phone with dealers, customers, suppliers (agencies) and other external parties.
- Working knowledge of English language - Candidate should be able to understand in-person conversations in English as part of training modules or regular discussion and read emails/documents written in English. Basic fluency in language will suffice.
- Previous experience in role of a Customer Service / Collections agent with banking or non-banking financial firms is preferred.
- Knowledge about the automotive finance or banking industry would be an advantage.
- Good comprehension skills and ability to quickly understand new processes.
- Good knowledge of working with MS Office & IT Applications in general.
